Chief Security Officer, Vice President at 3M
Responsible for Global Security, business risk mitigation, and crisis management for 3M company. Chris specializes in strategic planning and global security operations for both physical and cyber security with an emphasis on multi-stakeholder collaboration and cross-functional leadership.
He’s managed up to seven divisions and the activities of 2,320 personnel worldwide and strengthened national security related to criminal threats, physical threats, insider threats, intellectual property, and technology while minimizing operational risks.
Previously Chris was Chief Security Officer at a top defence tech startup specializing in national security defense technology with a specialization in autonomous vehicles and artificial intelligence. From 1997 to 2024, he served in the Navy where he was most recently the Deputy Director for Operations at NCIS.
